Job summary

Northwest Hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Critical Care ICU/IMC team in Randallstown, Maryland. You will manage complex ICU and step-down patients, participate in rapid clinical decision‑making, and serve as a trusted clinical leader within a high-performing physician-directed team.

The role emphasizes autonomy within a physician-led model, with opportunities to contribute to growth and modernization of critical care services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with a Master’s degree.
• MD NP or PA license active and in good standing; Advanced Practice approval as applicable.
• NCCPA certification for PAs and National NP Board Certification for NPs.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex ICU and Step-Down patients at the top of your license.
• Participate in rapid clinical decision-making to optimize patient outcomes.
• Serve as a clinical leader within a physician-led ICU/IMC team.
• Contribute to a growing critical care service line.
