Job summary
TriHealth is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for the Critical Care CVICU at Bethesda North Hospital. The APP will work with a full spectrum of specialists in a high‑caliber, 24/7 critical care team, handling admissions, diagnostics, treatments, and family communication.
The APRN role requires a Master’s in Nursing, NP/CNS/midwife program completion, and licensure, with 3–4 years of clinical nursing experience.
Qualifications
- Requires Master's Degree in Nursing and APRN licensure.
- Graduate from NP, CNS, or midwife program.
- Specialty certification in area of expertise.
- Professional nursing membership within one year of start date.
- 3–4 years of clinical nursing experience in geriatrics or related setting.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to diagnose and implement interventions.
- Provide consultation and initiate referrals to other healthcare team members.
- Lead in developing cost-conscious, high-quality patient care strategies.
- Design and implement evidence-based practice guidelines in the clinical setting.
- Mentor and educate nursing staff; support patient and family education.
- Prescribe medications and therapies within the formulary per state law.
- Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes.
