Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the adult Critical Care team in Worcester, MA. You will perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, and deliver expert care with substantial autonomy.

You will also engage in education, quality improvement, and leadership initiatives to support patient outcomes and team development, with a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Qualifications

• NP candidates must have ACNP/AGACNP and MA license with board certification and acute/critical care experience.
• PA candidates must have MA license, NCCPA certification, and acute/critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Join our adult Critical Care team and provide comprehensive assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions with autonomy.
• Deliver expert care and engage in education, quality improvement and leadership initiatives.
• Support outcomes and mentor team members in a high-functioning ICU.
• Document outcomes and communicate care plans with physicians and patients.

Massachusetts license (NP)

Board Certification (ANCC or AANP)

Acute/Critical Care experience

Education

Master’s degree in Nursing (ACNP/AGACNP preferred)
