Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks a Critical Care Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage in Utah. Shifts include 7a–7p and 7p–7a in an inpatient ICU, performing standard critical care procedures as required. Board certification in Critical Care, active Utah license, ACLS and a valid DEA are mandatory. Credentialing typically takes 45–60 days.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Critical Care Medicine with active Utah license.
• ACLS certification required.
• DEA license required.
• Locum tenens experience in inpatient ICU setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care in the inpatient ICU.
• Perform airway management, central lines, arterial lines.
• Manage dialysis catheter, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, chest tube placement as needed.
• Collaborate with ICU team and ensure patient safety and coverage during shifts.

This facility is seeking a Critical Care Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 7a-7p, 7p-7a


• Practice Setting: Inpatient ICU (Critical Care)


• Type of cases and required procedures:Common Critical Care procedures-- airway management, central lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheter, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertion at a minimum


• Credentialing timeframe:45-60 days


• Certifications required: Must be Board Certified, must have Critical Care experience, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)


• Licensure required:Must have an active Utah license
