Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks a Critical Care Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage in Kentucky. The schedule is 7a-5p in-house, with on-call from 5p-7a; inpatient ICU care in a Meditech environment.

Qualifications include Board Certification in Critical Care, ACLS and BLS, active Kentucky license and DEA. Procedures include airway management, central/arterial lines, dialysis catheter, paracentesis, thoracentesis with bronchoscopy, chest tube; malpractice coverage arranged.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Active Kentucky medical license and DEA.
• Experience in inpatient ICU settings and critical care procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient critical care in the ICU from 7a to 5p, with on-call coverage from 5p to 7a.
• Manage airway, central lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheter, paracentesis, thoracentesis with bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertion.

This facility is seeking a Critical Care Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 7a-5p in-house, then on-call 5p-7a.
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Type of cases and required procedures: Airway management, central lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheter, paracentesis, thoracentesis with bronchoscopy, chest tube insertion
• Credentialing timeframe: 45–60 days
• EMR: Meditech
• Certifications required: Board Certification in Critical Care, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Licensure required: Active Kentucky license, active DEA
