• Seeking Critical Care Physicians for locum coverage at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, Maryland.
• Program features a 20-bed closed ICU, primarily med/surg, with some cardiac and neurosurgery cases. A new ICU opened in Fall 2022.
• Coverage includes 7a-5p with an APP from 7a-3p, and 5p-7a shifts with no APP coverage on weekends, but with a moonlighting pool available.
• Typically, APPs handle 1/3 of the patients, while the Intensivist manages 2/3 during weekdays.
• EMR: Meditech with Dragon for dictation.
