Local Team Collaboration:

  • We take pride in our established team at Texas Health Plano.
  • Work alongside board-certified critical care physicians and acute care-trained advanced practice providers to provide care to patients in the 28-bed ICU.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified acute care trained Nurse Practitioner with unrestricted license.
  • Prior ICU APP practice time minimum of 3 years post-training practice no new graduates.
  • Licensed to practice in Texas.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Practice in the Heart of the Community

Scheduling:

  • PRN No set monthly shift commitment, offering flexibility to schedule shifts as available and based on program need and your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to medical/surgical/cardiac / neuro ICU patients.
  • Demonstrate autonomous care within an ICU setting with support from a full complement of medical subspecialists; demonstrate ability to work autonomously and multitask within the critical care team
  • Commit to excellence in the clinical service and demonstrate problem-solving abilities necessary to best serve our patients.
  • Must provide evidence of procedural competence with the following procedures: central lines, arterial lines, intubations, and chest tubes
  • EPIC EMR
