Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center in New York, NY is seeking an ICU Technician for the Medical ICU 4HN, full-time nights. The role involves bedside care, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs monitoring and blood glucose testing, working with nurses and nursing attendants to Put Patients First.

Qualified candidates will have at least two years as Nursing Attendant and completion of the Nursing Attendant skills inventory, with training as Nurse Technician or Patient Care Tech

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years current Nursing Attendant experience in a health care setting
• Successful completion of a skills inventory of a Nursing Attendant
• Recent training and/or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs monitoring and blood glucose testing
• Collaborate with nurses and nursing attendants to support patient care
