Qualifications

• BSN in progress and/or willingness to acquire within three years of hire.
• 1 year of critical care or ED nursing experience required.
• Current New Jersey Nursing license required, BLS/CPR within 60 days, ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
• Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
• Provide patient and family-centered education for health optimization and disease management.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care.
