Job summary

Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a Critical Care Float Registered Nurse in Newark, NJ. You will provide specialized critical care across units, adjusting to patient needs while ensuring safety and quality of care.

The role requires 1 year of RN experience and NJ or Compact licensure, with NIHSS/ACLS/BLS certifications. Epic charting and a 13-week assignment are included, with days, 3 12-hour shifts, starting 10/19/2026.

Qualifications

• NJ license or Compact License required.
• RN with 1 year of experience in relevant setting.
• Certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing care in a float role.
• Monitor and interpret patient status with emphasis on cardiovascular stability.
• Document care and interventions in Epic accurately.
• Collaborate with care teams to coordinate patient transfers and admissions.
• Assist with procedures and respond to acute changes in patient condition.
