Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for ICU coverage across MICU, CTICU, SICU, CICU and NICU. Position requires CT license (or compact) post-submission and strict travel-only availability (live >75 miles from the facility).

The assignment runs 13 weeks with 12-hour day shifts, typically 3x12 or 4x12, every other weekend, no on-call. Auto-offer, labs within 48 hours, and required vaccines are part of onboarding.

Experience

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
• 12 months of travel experience is preferred.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Special Requests: RTO greater than 7 days requires approval. Parking costs $125/month.

Unit Details: Travel RN functions as a generalist. No specialty is required. Adult and geriatric patient population. Service lines include MICU, CTICU, SICU, CICU, and NICU.

Shift & Scheduling:Shift may be 3x12 or 4x12.Every other weekend.No call.

Floating Requirements: Travelers will float among 5 ICU specialties and step-down units across Yale New Haven Hospital's York Street Campus and Saint Raphael Campus, which are 2 blocks apart and share a parking lot; a shuttle is provided if needed, and floating to step-down as needed includes a pulmonary step-down unit with a 1:3 ratio.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
