Job summary

Trusted is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a night-shift assignment in multiple ICU units. You will float across Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn, Trauma, and IMC/Progressive units while maintaining high patient care standards.

Requires 12 months of ICU experience with 3 months in the last year, travel experience, Epic proficiency, and Trauma Level 1 background. Wisconsin license or compact license is mandatory for submission.

Qualifications

• Must have ICU/critical care nursing experience across multiple units.
• RN licensed in WI or a compact state; active submission required.
• Experience with Epic EMR and trauma/ICU workflows is required.

Responsibilities

• Float to Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn, Trauma, MSICU and IMC/Progressive units.
• Work night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) on a travel assignment.
• Complete pre-employment modules and provide certifications as requested.

Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 5 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic/Cardiac ICU, Burn, Trauma Surgery, and IMC/Progressive populations.
• Basic arrhythmia experience required.
• CRRT-Nextstage experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
• Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
• Epic experience within the past 12 months preferred.

Unit Details:

• Adult and geriatric high-acuity patient population.
• Includes IMC/Progressive/General care populations as needed.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend and some holidays.

Floating Requirements:

• Will float to Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn, Trauma, MSICU, and IMC/Progressive units.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
