Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced ICU travel nurse for a night-shift assignment. The role requires float flexibility to Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn, Trauma, MSICU, and IMC/Progressive units, with 8/12-hour shifts and a 1900-0730 schedule.

Required are 12 months ICU experience (3 months in last year), 2 years trauma/critical care float, travel experience, and Epic competency. Wisconsin or compact license is needed upon submission.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Float to Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn, Trauma, MSICU, and IMC/Progressive units.
• Be available for 8/12-hour shifts, 1900-0730.
• Provide care for adult and geriatric high-acuity patients across multiple ICU services.
• Complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Experience

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, and IMC/Progressive/General care populations.Basic arrhythmia experience.CRRT-Nextstage experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:Adult and geriatric patient population.High-acuity critical care float role across Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU.IMC/Progressive/General care populations as needed.Academic learning environment.

Shift & Scheduling:Evening/night, 8/12-hour shifts, 1900-0730, with every other weekend and some holidays.

Floating Requirements:Will float to Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn, Trauma, MSICU, and IMC/Progressive units.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
