Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced ICU travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Wisconsin. You will float to multiple ICU units, including Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma, MSICU, and IMC/Progressive units, with 12-hour nights and 3 shifts per week.

Candidates must hold WI license or compact, have travel and Epic experience, and meet the listed certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC). Flu vaccination required; last 12 months healthcare restrictions apply.

Qualifications

• 12 months of ICU experience with 3 months in the last 12 months.
• 5 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is required and Epic experience is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Float to multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma, MSICU, and IMC/Progressive units.
• Manage care for adult and geriatric ICU patients during night shifts.
• Complete labs within 48 hours of signing and maintain required certifications.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 5 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
• Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties, with experience in multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc.) and IMC/Progressive/General care populations.Basic arrhythmia experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:Adult and geriatric patient population.Cares for ICU and IMC/Progressive/General care populations.

Shift & Scheduling:Evening and night 8 and 12 hour shifts available.Will accept 4x12s if preferred.Every other weekend.Some holidays required.

Floating Requirements:Will float to Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma, MSICU, and IMC/Progressive units.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
