Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced nurse for a travel assignment in Philadelphia. The role features 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) and requires a BSN, PA license or compact license, and Epic experience.

Nurses must have 24 months of experience with 3 months in the last year and 12 months in Critical Care Float Pool, with travel experience preferred. Local or travel is allowed, with local candidates within 50 miles processed accordingly.

Qualifications

• Must hold Pennsylvania RN license or compact license.
• BSN is required.
• Experience with Critical Care and travel nurses preferred.
• Epic experience required (1 month in last 6 months).
• Local or travel allowed; within 50 miles considered local.
• Pre-employment modules may be required and upload certifications.
• ICU float to multiple units with orientation provided.
• 1 reference from most recent employment; 2 manager references for supervisor roles.
• No placements at Temple University Direct Program.

Responsibilities

• Float to ICUs, step-down units, IMCU and ED for ICU holds/borders.
• May float to Women’s and Family if needed.
• Provide direct patient care in a travel assignment.
• Adhere to pre-employment health and certification requirements.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with any experience within the last 18 months.

Travel experience is preferred.

Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 6 months.

BSN completion required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

No current placement allowed at Program: Temple University (Direct) Program.

Special Requests:- No more than 5 days of RTO; if 5 days in a row, can add week to the back end.- Travelers do not work on a holiday; they are expected to work the days surrounding the holiday. Depending on how many holidays occur during the contract, they must be available for the days surrounding 1-2 holidays.

Floating Requirements:- ICU RNs will float to all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders.- May also float to Women’s and Family if needed; at this facility, they will only be assigned to the ICU and will receive an orientation for this.- At Women’s and Family, patient populations may include the same patients as MICU/RICU at Temple main, with the exception of CRRT and ECMO. They may also include preeclampsia and eclampsia, hypertensive moms, hyperemesis, and postpartum hemorrhage.- RNs are normally assigned 24 hours in advance to any unit/hospital; however, they can be pulled mid-shift to float to any unit or hospital.

5 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
