Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a night shift assignment in the New York/Acra area. This travel role requires ICU/critical care experience, Epic proficiency, and a BSN; PA license or compact is required. Local candidates (living within 50 miles) may be processed as local.

Responsibilities

• Float to ICU, step-down, IMCU and ED as needed for ICU holds/borders.
• May float to Women’s and Family; orientation provided for ICU assignment.
• Nurses are scheduled 24 hours in advance but can be pulled mid-shift to float.
• Work 12-hour night shifts; 3 shifts per week with up to 13 weeks.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with any experience within the last 18 months.

Travel experience is preferred.

Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 6 months.

BSN completion required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

No current placement allowed at Program: Temple University (Direct) Program.

Special Requests:- No more than 5 days of RTO; if 5 days in a row, can add week to the back end.- Travelers do not work on a holiday; they are expected to work the days surrounding the holiday. Depending on how many holidays occur during the contract, they must be available for the days surrounding 1-2 holidays.

Floating Requirements:- ICU RNs will float to all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders.- May also float to Women’s and Family if needed; at this facility, they will only be assigned to the ICU and will receive an orientation for this.- At Women’s and Family, patient populations may include the same patients as MICU/RICU at Temple main, with the exception of CRRT and ECMO. They may also include preeclampsia and eclampsia, hypertensive moms, hyperemesis, and postpartum hemorrhage.- RNs are normally assigned 24 hours in advance to any unit/hospital; however, they can be pulled mid-shift to float to any unit or hospital.

5 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
