Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a night ICU assignment at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. The role requires float to multiple units, telemetry, and ventilator management, with priority on teaching hospital experience and ACEN/CCNE-accredited education.

Candidates must hold Ohio or compact licensure, be able to start within a week, and have BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.

Qualifications

12 months ICU experience with 3 months in the last 12 months.
22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
Travel experience preferred.
Experience with Epic is required.

Responsibilities

Float to multiple units within the OSU organization as needed.
Work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and provide critical care support.
Maintain patient safety and high-quality care across units such as MICU, SICU, and CVICU.

Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
Travel experience is preferred.
Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
This role will require floating to multiple units
Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details:

Adult patient population.
Transplants - kidney, liver, lung, heart.

Shift & Scheduling:

Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:

Will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and SICU/MICU/NCCU.
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity based on staffing and patient acuity.
14 days maximum time off.
Start assignment restriction: 7 days1

Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years1

Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years1
