Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a PRN transport paramedic to provide direct patient care during air and ground critical care transports in Pueblo West, CO. The role requires NREMT and Colorado EMT-P at hire, FP-C preferred, and 3+ years of paramedic experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of paramedic experience required.
• NREMT and Colorado EMT-P certification at hire; FP-C preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP with renewals; TPATC/PHTLS/ITLS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during all phases of transport.
• Document assessments, interventions and patient response within required timeframes.
• Perform vehicle and equipment checks; ensure readiness for transport.
• Collaborate across disciplines and provide safety education to facilities and EMS partners.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and decisive action.
