Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Uvalde, TX is seeking a Flight Nurse to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities, including scene calls. You will work with a professional team dedicated to high safety standards for crew and patients.

A CFRN is required within 24 months; RN license in states served; BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications required; prior flight or EMS experience preferred. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as a licensed RN.
• RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• CFRN certification required within 24 months from date of hire.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification provided during New Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess each situation to determine best course of action for critical care patients.
• Manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment and ensure base checks and equipment are up to standard.
• Collaborate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
