Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Nurse Assistant trainee to provide basic patient care under nursing supervision. Responsibilities include taking vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, and changing linens as directed by the clinical staff.

The role supports clinical educators during training and prepares trainees to work in inpatient settings after completing the program. BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior patient care or health care related experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS must be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, change linens.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff or clinical educator.
