Job summary

Infor in Marshall, MI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to an assigned patient population under the supervision of the Charge RN and/or physician. You will assist with activities of daily living, complete hourly rounds, monitor patient needs, and communicate openly with patients and families as a liaison to licensed staff.

This role requires CNA certification, BLS certification within three months of hire, and completion of hard cuff soft limb restraints training

Qualifications

• CNA certification required for employment.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Hard cuff and soft limb restraint certification within 2 months and annual recertification.

Responsibilities

• Assists in activities of daily living for assigned patients.
• Completes hourly rounds and monitors patient needs.
• Communicates with patients and families and acts as liaison to licensed staff.
• Assists with answering call lights promptly.
• Performs duties within the realm of a certified nursing assistant.
• Monitors supplies and restocks as needed.
• Assists in specimen collection and transport to lab.
• Relieves Unit Secretary for breaks.
• Participates in CPR rotation as needed.
• Assists patients with essential needs ( blankets, fluids, nutrition ) after verification with attending or RN.
