Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing license issued by FL DOH or Compact State.
• BLS and ACLS
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in an acute care clinical division required.
• Experience in high-acuity, critical care, emergency, or trauma-designated clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to patients across the lifespan in high-acuity settings.
• Performs comprehensive assessments and responds to complex clinical conditions.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates care plans aligned with trauma care standards.
• Documents assessments and outcomes in the electronic health record per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Responds to emergent trauma-related situations prioritizing patient safety.
• Maintains infection prevention and safety policy compliance.
• Supports staffing needs across multiple clinical areas within the float team.
