Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
• Current California RN license.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS (AHA), Basic Dysrhythmia, NIHS Stroke.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan care for CCU patients; develop and revise care plans.
• Deliver advanced critical care interventions with cardiac monitoring and ventilator management.
• Identify decompensation, lead rapid response tasks, and follow ACLS protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, procedures, and discharge plans.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and proper use of restraints when needed.
• Ensure equipment readiness (crash carts, defibrillators, monitors) at shift start.
• Document vital signs, rhythms, interventions and titrations in EMR.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, therapists, and teams.
