Job summary

University Hospitals in Cleveland is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in Pulmonary and Critical Care to support the MICU, six-bed medical stepdown, and the code white/sepsis response teams. You will round with attending physicians, support patient care, and participate in a fast-paced critical care environment.

New graduates will be considered for the New Grad Training Program while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited PA program is required.
• MSN in Nursing is required.
• 1+ years of APP experience is preferred.
• PA licensure, RN license and certifications (BLS, ACLS) are required or preferred when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current research.
• Establishes plan of care and implements interventions per carepaths, protocols, and standards of care.
• Collaborates with other health care providers in an interdisciplinary team to provide care.
• Contributes to the educational development of staff, patients, families and self.
• Demonstrates progressive leadership and effective management.
• Provides education through role modeling and in-services to meet identified learning needs.
