Job summary

Integrative Emergency Services is seeking a Board-Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a critical care role in Dallas, Texas. Candidates must have extensive ICU and trauma knowledge, and experience managing critically ill surgical patients.

The position requires the ability to work 13-hour shifts and weekends. Ideal candidates will hold an active Texas Medical License and possess ACLS and BLS certifications. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality care in cardiovascular and surgical ICUs.

Qualifications

North Texas Critical Care is a dedicated critical care intensivist team delivering quality care within the Cardiovascular and Surgical ICUs at Baylor University Medical Center and Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth. We provide post-operative care within high acuity units – treating patients recovering from heart/lung transplants, trauma, and cardiovascular surgeries.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Graduate of accredited AGACNP/PA program
• Must have extensive ICU and trauma knowledge
• Critical Care, Cardiothoracic and/or Trauma experience (2+ years)
• Ability to work 13-hour day, night shifts, and 13 shifts per month plus weekends
• Ability to work autonomously within the Critical Care team
• Active Texas Medical License in good standing and DEA
• Experience in the management of critically ill surgical patients
• Experience with Cardiothoracic surgical patients is highly preferred
• Active ACLS and BLS
