Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking an acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our team in Conroe, Texas. This position is primarily day shifts with some nights and offers autonomy in practice with MD backup support. The ideal candidate will have ICU experience and be able to perform critical care procedures.

ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking an acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe hospital in Conroe, Texas.

Qualifications

• Acute care certified NP or Physician Assistant
• ICU APP experience required
• APP providers must be proficient with, and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, intubations, dialysis catheter access, and management of mechanical ventilation.
• Ability to work Full Time
• Primarily day shift with ability to work some nights
• 12-hour shifts, flexible block scheduling
• MD and APP onsite during the day, APP autonomous with MD back up call at night
