Job summary

Genesis in Oak Grove, MN is seeking a Crisis Youth House Supervisor to oversee daily operations, supervise DSP staff, and manage budgets while ensuring person-centered care for individuals with developmental or behavioral needs.

The role requires strong decision making, teamwork, and reliable transportation. You’ll train staff, coordinate services, and support residents and their families in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older, high school diploma preferred.
• Three years of experience delivering services to individuals with disabilities, and six months of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license with access to an insured vehicle, clean driving record, and ability to pass a DHS background study.
• Exhibit basic computer skills to be successful in this position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations at the site, ensuring DSPs deliver services per policies.
• Directly supervise and participate in orientation and training of Direct Support Professionals.
• Oversee prudent spending and documentation of financial resources, including budgets and petty cash.
• Maintain all site records and conduct periodic audits for compliance.
• Develop person-centered and therapeutic working relationships with individuals, families, staff, and other personnel.
• Arrange transportation to medical, dental, and other appointments.
• Assist individuals with daily routines, including household tasks, self-care, socialization, health and safety, and money management.
