Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Crisis Clinician to join our urgent care/MCI team. This role delivers crisis evaluations and brief stabilization across diverse settings, including telehealth, with opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Qualified candidates will have a Master’s in Social Work, licensure preferred (LICSW/LMHC), and strong documentation skills. We support community outreach and collaboration with partners to ensure timely access to care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field.
• License in social work (LICSW/LMHC) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle for community settings.
• Familiarity with CANS assessment is helpful.
• Computer literacy: Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency crisis evaluations across youth to geriatric populations in multiple settings.
• Manages the acute phase of behavioral health crises.
• Conducts intakes and brief stabilization interventions.
• Completes accurate documentation within required timeframes.
• Develops relationships with community partners and uses supervision effectively.
