Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Crisis Therapist to join our crisis treatment team in Pryor, OK. The role provides clinical oversight and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to determine levels of care for clients in crisis.

Responsibilities include screenings, risk assessments, and timely documentation, with a focus on integration of behavioral health with physical health care and evidence-based practices. A current driver’s license and licensure/supervision are required.

Qualifications

• All crisis therapists must maintain licensure or be under supervision.
• Must possess a current and valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• For BHPs: Master's in behavioral health with board-approved supervision to become licensed.
• LBHPs: licensed to practice in the state where services are provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete screenings, initial treatment plans, risk assessments, and therapy sessions.
• Screen and triage crisis interventions as directed.
• Document services thoroughly, accurately and timely.
• Consult with other agencies and professionals with proper releases.
• Attend staff meetings and meet performance expectations.
• Travel as needed to transport clients and support services.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
