MIND 24-7 in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Crisis Therapist to deliver urgent behavioral health assessments and crisis stabilization for youth and adults in a fast-paced, on-site setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, coordinate care, document in the EMR, and participate in discharge planning to support safe transitions.

This role requires a Master’s in a related field, Arizona licensure, and a strong commitment to ethics and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling or related behavioral health field.
  • Arizona licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT preferred; LMSW/LAC required).
  • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain on hire.
  • Strong clinical judgment and crisis intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration in fast-paced settings.
  • Comfort with technology and EMR platforms.
  • Commitment to ethics and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments for youth and adults in crisis.
  • Recommend and coordinate the appropriate level of care per state guidelines and Mind 24-7 protocols.
  • Deliver crisis stabilization therapy or brief intervention services as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure treatment goals and continuity of care.
  • Accurately document and maintain service records in the EMR system.
  • Participate in discharge planning and care coordination for patient transitions.
  • Float across units as needed and participate in required trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Crisis Therapist at Mind 24-7, you’ll play a vital role in delivering urgent behavioral health assessments, crisis stabilization, and care coordination for individuals experiencing acute mental health needs. Your Role & Impact
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments for both youth and adults in crisis.
  • Recommend and coordinate the most appropriate level of care in accordance with state guidelines and Mind 24-7 protocols.
  • Deliver crisis stabilization therapy or brief intervention services as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure clear treatment goals and continuity of care.
  • Accurately complete documentation and service records in the EMR system.
  • Participate in discharge planning and care coordination to support patient transitions.
  • Float across units as needed and participate in required trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field (required)
  • Independent Arizona licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) (preferred) or Associate Arizona licensure (LMSW, LAC) (required)
