UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital is looking for a passionate Part-time Crisis Technician to join our team at Resolve Crisis Services! Resolve is a 24-hour, 365-day crisis service that includes a hotline, mobile crisis team, walk-in center, and services for children and teens. Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain a warm, friendly, and hospitable environment while answering questions, obtaining clinical information, and documenting duties.
  2. Provide direct care to individuals and families in walk-in and structured residences using CSSP principles and a recovery model.
  3. Offer supportive counseling with a person-centered, strength-based approach.
  4. Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  5. Assist with ADLs, hygiene, and laundry.
  6. Use motivational interviewing in crisis settings.
  7. Participate in staff meetings and maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
