Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a Full Time Professional to join the Illinois Crisis Prevention Network.

This role provides guidance and consultation for individuals with developmental disabilities facing stress, and helps implement action plans to keep them in their current placements. The position emphasizes clinical support and fieldwork (75%), training (15%), and other duties (10%), with travel to community sites and family homes as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related human service field.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and communities.
• Experience with crisis intervention and behavior plans.

Responsibilities

• Respond to referrals within 24 hours for first contact and 72 hours for first observation.
• Maintain minimum standard of care for assigned cases.
• Provide or model direct crisis services for persons served.
• Complete intake documents, service summaries, action plans and case closure forms according to standards.
• Collaborate with supervisor and team to assess needs and determine treatment course.
• Conduct on-site observations and environmental reviews to identify factors affecting responses.
• Work with community agencies, schools, and families to generalize strategies across settings.
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings and document satisfaction data per contract requirements.
• Maintain compliance with DHS regulations and licensure as applicable.
• Keep accurate medical records for each person served.
