Job summary

Solari, Inc. is seeking a Crisis Specialist to join our 100% remote team, serving Colorado residents. You will assess crisis situations, triage risk, and connect individuals with appropriate resources, working with a coordinated team to provide compassionate care.

This full-time role offers shift differential pay for evenings, weekends, and overnights. Applicants must reside in Colorado or Oklahoma and be committed to supporting the community in crisis.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma with 4+ years of behavioral health experience.
• Alternative: Bachelor’s or Master’s with BH experience or an Associate degree with BH experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming crisis calls, texts, and chats with compassion and expertise.
• Screen and triage to assess safety and risk using our tool.
• Educate on mental health resources and community supports.
• Collaborate in training, meetings, and clinical oversight to improve care.
• Document all interactions accurately in the EHR.
• Stay updated on best practices in crisis intervention and behavioral health.

What You'll Do:

As a Crisis Specialist, you'll be the first voice of support for individuals reaching out for help. Your superpowers will include assessment and referral of crisis calls, chats, or texts, ensuring safety, and coordinating care with finesse. Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the Way: Respond to incoming calls, texts, and chats for crisis services with a blend of compassion and expertise. Every interaction you have will be an opportunity to bring hope and positivity.


• Screen & Triage: Use your keen insight to assess and guide crisis interventions, utilizing our risk assessment tool to ensure safety and effective resolutions.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of a GED/High School diploma and four (4) years of full-time behavioral health work experience.


• Alternatively, a combination of education and experience will be considered (Master’s degree / Bachelor's degree + 1 year BH experience / Associate degree + 2 years BH experience).


• Education Specifications: Behavioral health or substance use fields


• Experience Specifications: Mental health or substance use field managing high-risk, high-acuity, or crisis patients or members is required

The candidate's applicable education and experience will determine where a candidate falls in the position range.

Pay Range: $22 USD - $25.30 USD

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties in the office or at a home office, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; they must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to noise typical with office operations. Ability to hear and speak.
