Job summary

Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network is seeking an RN for Crisis Services to monitor clients, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within a 24/7 Crisis Care Center.

The role requires an MI RN license, 1 year in behavioral health, a BSN preferred, and full vaccination as a condition of employment. Contingent status with 12-hour shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse (BSN preferred).
• One (1) year of full-time paid experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Valid State of Michigan RN licensure and Michigan driver's license with clean record.
• COVID-19 vaccination proof as a condition of employment per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within scope and act under Nurse Practice Act, policies, and protocols.
• Use nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to plan and document care.
• Advise patients and families on treatment plans and educate them about care.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects; document in charts.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to determine best treatment plans.
• Supervise licensed practical nurses and students as assigned.
• Coordinate care with other providers and community resources.
