Job summary

MIND 24-7 is seeking a Crisis Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift in Mesa, AZ. The role focuses on immediate on-site crisis intervention, stabilizing patients in acute psychiatric distress, and delivering care in a fast-paced crisis setting for children, adolescents, and adults.

As a Crisis RN, you will provide direct patient care in a safe facility, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and contribute to a rapidly expanding behavioral health organization.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing with the Arizona Board of Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of psychiatric/behavioral health or crisis care experience.
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Comfortable working in a crisis environment with diverse patient populations.
• Experience with children and adolescents in behavioral health settings.
• Proficiency with EMRs and psychiatric documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical and mental health assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications per protocol with accurate documentation.
• Monitor, document, and report behavioral and medical changes.
• Participate in patient treatment planning as part of the clinical team.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatments, and medications.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and therapeutic interventions as needed.
• Ensure adherence to seclusion and restraint standards and documentation.
• Document all patient care timely per facility protocol.
• Perform lab draws and wound care as ordered.
• Float among services within the market as needed and qualified.
• Attend supervision sessions and complete trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
