Job summary

MIND 24-7 in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Crisis RN to stabilize patients in acute psychiatric distress within a fast-paced crisis setting. You will work with children, adolescents, and adults in a 24/7 front-door behavioral health program.

The role involves comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Night shift schedule (2/12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) offers competitive pay and on-site care responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license issued by the Arizona Board of Nursing.
• At least 1 year of psychiatric, behavioral health, or crisis care experience.
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Comfortable in a crisis environment with diverse patient populations.
• Experience with children and adolescents in behavioral health settings.
• Proficient with EMRs and psychiatric documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical and mental health assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications per facility protocol with accurate documentation.
• Monitor, document, and report behavioral and medical changes in patients.
• Participate in patient treatment planning as part of the clinical team.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatments, and medications.
• Utilize verbal de-escalation and therapeutic interventions for safety.
• Adhere to seclusion and restraint standards with proper documentation.
• Apply SafeClinch techniques per facility guidelines.
• Document all patient care promptly per protocol.
• Perform lab draws and wound care as ordered.
• Float among clinical services within the market as needed.
• Attend supervision sessions and complete trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
