Community Bridges, Inc. is seeking a Crisis Mobile Specialist to respond to crisis calls from first responders, jails, hospitals, and the community.

This on-call role triages crises, recommends interventions, and assists in transitioning individuals to the appropriate level of care, day or night across Arizona. The position requires a high school diploma or GED (associates degree preferred) and at least two years in behavioral health, with six months recovery from substance use or mental health

Crisis Mobile Specialist

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models.

Job Summary

The Crisis Mobile Specialist is responsible for responding to crisis calls from first responders, jails, hospitals, other providers and the community at large. The intent of this service is to quickly triage a crisis situation, recommend an appropriate intervention, and assist in transitioning the person in crisis to the most appropriate level of care, when applicable. These positions are ‘on call’ positions and are required to respond to crisis situations 24 hours a day. Each area below is defined by the specific function as it relates to the policy, process, and the governing rules set forth by the Department of Behavioral Health Services (DBHS), Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA), Office of Behavioral Health Licensure (OBHL), and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).

Skills/Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required. Associates Degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Behavioral Health Field required.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
