Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency serving Arizona. The Crisis Mobile Specialist role responds to crisis calls 24/7, triages situations, and assists in directing individuals to the most appropriate level of care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the Behavioral Health field.
  • Recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred (≥6 months).
  • Must be able to respond to crisis calls promptly, including after hours.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to crisis calls from first responders, jails, hospitals, and the community.
  • Triage crisis situations and recommend appropriate interventions.
  • Coordinate transitions to the appropriate level of care when applicable.

Job Summary

The Crisis Mobile Specialist is responsible for responding to crisis calls from first responders, jails, hospitals, other providers and the community at large. The intent of this service is to quickly triage a crisis situation, recommend an appropriate intervention, and assist in transitioning the person in crisis to the most appropriate level of care, when applicable. These positions are ‘on call’ positions and are required to respond to crisis situations 24 hours a day. Each area below is defined by the specific function as it relates to the policy, process, and the governing rules set forth by the Department of Behavioral Health Services (DBHS), Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA), Office of Behavioral Health Licensure (OBHL), and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).

Skills/Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is required. Associates Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Behavioral Health Field required.
  • Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
