Job summary

Pawnee Mental Health seeks a dedicated professional to join our CSU team in Manhattan, Kansas. You will provide direct support and supervision to clients under individualized care plans, helping them achieve stability and safety in a compassionate, trauma-informed environment.

Join a collaborative interdisciplinary team, maintain documentation in the EHR, conduct safety checks, support ADLs, and participate in admissions, discharges, and transitions while upholding confidentiality and regulatory

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and supervision to clients in the CSU in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, secure, and clean environment for all clients and staff.
• Conduct routine safety checks and document observations per department protocol.
• Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, meals, and self-care.
• Lead psychosocial groups and structured activities as directed by clinical staff.
• De-escalate behavioral crises using trauma-informed and nonviolent intervention techniques.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client status under clinical supervision.
• Report client concerns, symptoms, or incidents promptly to licensed staff and/or supervisor.
• Facilitate admissions, discharges, and transitions under the direction of licensed team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including nursing, therapy, case management, and psychiatry.
• Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
• Complete and maintain up-to-date required training for this position.
• Perform all other reasonably related duties assigned by immediate supervisor or other management personnel.
