Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners, LLC is hiring an experienced LCSW for a full-time Days position in Sitka, AK. You will provide evidence-based, culturally relevant crisis intervention in the emergency department and other hospital departments.

You will evaluate individuals in crisis, determine levels of care including involuntary psychiatric hospitalization under Alaska Statute Title 47, perform intake/diagnostic evaluations, crisis counseling, discharge planning, and coordinate care with external

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited program.
• Licensed as an LCSW; LPC or LMFT may be preferred; active licensure maintained.
• Minimum two years in behavioral health or similar setting.
• Experience with crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning.
• Knowledge of Alaska Title 47 involuntary holds and forms.
• Ability to coordinate care with external agencies and facilities.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license or ability to obtain within six months; BLS within three months.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidenced-based crisis intervention in the ED and hospital departments.
• Evaluate individuals in crisis and determine levels of care, including involuntary hospitalization when appropriate.
• Conduct intake/diagnostic evaluations and crisis counseling/intervention.
• Develop discharge plans and coordinate with external agencies.
• Document all services in the electronic health record and participate on the treatment team.
