Objectives
- Self-disclose personal experience as a consumer of substance use and/or dual diagnosis with mental health services.
- Be aware of and take appropriate action with high-risk indicators/suicidal and homicidal ideation.
- Participate in statewide events/summits/training/activities that support the education/development/ promotion of WRAP, MHFA, and Recovery Support and Consumer Provider Services.
- Communicate with members of the outpatient team when appropriate and needed for proper consumer care.
- Educate individuals on wellness and recovery support.
- Educate individuals on how to make the treatment work for them and their choices in the recovery process.
- Advocate for individuals using professionalism and non-adversarial approaches.
- Willingness, ability, and commitment to serving as a role model for Recovery.
- Facilitate group and individual sessions.
- Awareness of Recovery planning needs and development.
Requirements
- Lived experience as a consumer of substance use/mental health services.
- GED or higher education.
- Public speaking and communication skills.
- Experience either as a consumer of or facilitator of groups.
- Ability to utilize computers for service documentation.
- Teaching skills, non-judgmental personality, and empathic listening skills.
- Valid driver's license / current automobile liability insurance, including uninsured motorist coverage
- Current CRSS or desire to pursue CRSS state certification; willingness to acquire CRSS state certification while on the job.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks.
This shift is for: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Noon-9 or 10pm.

Pay: $18.97 - $19.91 per hour
