Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. is seeking a part-time Crisis Clinician (PRN) at the Festus location. The role focuses on leading crisis assessments, coordinating care, and mentoring staff during night and evening shifts within the BHCC.

The position requires a social/behavioral health degree with supervision for licensure or QAP certification as options. A retention bonus is offered for qualified candidates, with additional incentives for licensed or credentialed professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field required.
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work or psychology preferred.
• Minimum two years of crisis services experience or QAP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead assessor for individuals presenting at BHCC.
• Provide comprehensive assessments and discharge planning.
• Oversee and support non-clinical staff during shifts.
• Direct flow and referrals to ensure timely, appropriate care.
• Collaborate with internal teams, law enforcement, EMS and community partners.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Provide culturally responsive care honoring individual needs.
• Offer virtual support to other BHCC or Youth Behavioral Health sites as needed.
