The Crisis Services Clinician provides behavioral health emergency services for Delaware and Morrow County youth at the Lewis Center or Mt Gilead Office and in the community. This position includes providing risk assessment and short-term, intensive interventions to individuals and families in crisis, including engaging families in service linkage following a crisis. This position assists in developing and implementing treatment and disposition plans for clients presenting in crisis and collaborates with other clinical staff and community providers to ensure that safe and therapeutic treatment is provided for all clients.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master’s degree in a behavioral health care profession.
License: Must hold appropriate licensure as required by the State of Ohio to provide clinical services (LPC, LSW, MFT, LISW, LPCC, IMFT, and/or Psychologist)
Experience: One year of experience providing direct clinical services within the behavioral health field. Experience with crisis, children, couples/family, and/or substance use preferred.
Physical Requirements: The ability to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand in person and virtually. Ability to sit and/or remain stationary for extended periods. Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Skills:
• Ability to provide behavioral health services using strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of the skills, treatment interventions and evidenced-based practices that are most effective for the population primarily served in the program.
• Proficient with technology, including but not limited to Microsoft Office programs, electronic health records, and telehealth platforms.
• Participate in agency meetings as appropriate for licensure and position.

• Facilitate behavioral health services (mental health and substance use) utilizing evidence-based interventions with individuals, families/couples, and/or groups in an office or community-based settings at a level that is consistent with established service productivity requirements.
• Work with the QA and Peer Review committees and the supervisory team to ensure that the crisis services are compliant with all regulations, standards, and policies of funding and accrediting bodies.
• Coordinate the daily operations of behavioral health care crisis services provided at the site, including maintaining
• schedules to ensure crisis coverage during operating hours.
• Supervise and evaluate staff’s clinical and programmatic work and administrative practices.
• Track and maintain data on crisis services and outcomes.
