Job summary

UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Safe Harbor is seeking a dedicated Crisis Technician I to join the Crisis Residential Unit (CRU) in Erie, PA. The role emphasizes compassionate, client-centered crisis care with comprehensive training provided on hire.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to support medication management, therapy, and care coordination. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (unit needs) with on-site work at 2556 West 12th Street, Erie.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required/preferred.
• B.S. degree is preferred.
• Crisis experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living): mobility and medication management.
• Participating in multidisciplinary activities and developing treatment plans with the team.
• Providing direct total physical care to residents in crisis and contributing to safety in the therapeutic environment.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and records as part of the recovery-focused care.
