Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers in Ardmore, OK seeks a Performance Improvement Specialist for crisis to oversee follow-up care after crisis, ensure documentation compliance with ODMHSAS/OHCA standards, and contribute to quarterly performance improvement reports.

You will travel to Lighthouse sites or connect via Zoom, supervise chart reviews, train staff, and collaborate with crisis and outpatient teams to sustain quality care and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a mental health field and two years of performance improvement or clinical documentation experience, or a Master’s with one year.
• Must meet ODMHSAS certification requirements within 3 months and maintain annually.
• Experience in direct mental health services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows guidelines to ensure clinical records meet Title XIX, Medicaid, ODMHSAS, and funding standards.
• Reviews records for funding source compliance and trains staff on corrections.
• Monitors ODMHSAS follow-up care requirements and coordinates transitions to after-care.
• Ensures ETPS measures for follow-up care are tracked with positive results.
• Monitors documentation for crisis billing and assists with corrections with the CQI team.
• Travels to Lighthouse sites or via Zoom to ensure agency-wide compliance and training.
• Assists in data collection and quarterly consumer satisfaction reporting.
• Supports audits and prepares for certification reviews.
