Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in North Carolina seeks a Facility Based Crisis Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a regular role. The nurse will perform nursing assessments, deliver care, and ensure adherence to nursing standards at the crisis center.

The position requires active LPN licensure in the state, with two years of behavioral health experience preferred. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are also required; MSN is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Active and current LPN Licensure in state of employment.
• 2 years’ experience as a nurse working with behavioral health clients, preferred.
• Working knowledge of psychoactive substance abuse, dependency and the principles and techniques based on best practices, commitment to the use of evidence based treatment and preventative methods.
• Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Performing Nursing assessments and interventions with medications oversight and administration as needed.
• Reporting client’s social, psychological and physical behavior as indicated
• Implementing and ensuring compliance with standards of nursing practice that promote optimal health care delivery and meet regulatory requirements
• Implementing policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance with Confidentiality regulations, HIPAA, national accreditation agency and Continuous Quality Improvement, attending applicable meetings as necessary
• Using state guidelines, Quality Assurance Plan and Client Rights Policy, ensuring that clinical operations comply with state regulations and update plans and policies as necessary
• Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, making recommendations for hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, motivating, disciplining and promoting team performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems
