Horizon Behavioral Health in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a QMHP-T Clinician for our NEW Crisis Receiving Center. You will provide crisis intervention, care coordination, and skills restoration to adults in 23-hour observation, residential stabilization, and detox programs, helping clients achieve stability.

This trainee position offers expert training and clinical supervision with the goal of promoting to a full QMHP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an applicable human services field (e.g., social work, counseling, behavioral science).
• No professional experience required.
• Credential: Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee (QMHP-T).

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention, care coordination, skills restoration and education for adults in 23-hour observation, residential stabilization, and detox programs.
• Collaborate with treatment team members, contribute to treatment planning and discharge planning.
• Communicate effectively to facilitate treatment and support interdisciplinary teams.
