Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is a leading provider of immediate-access behavioral health crisis care. The Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) maintains safety, takes vitals, and documents interactions in the EHR while supporting individuals in need.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in behavioral health, social services, or related field.
• Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.
• Vaccination policy requires full vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of individuals and staff on the unit.
• Take vitals and document services in the EHR.
• Conduct security screening and orientation for admissions.
• De-escalate escalated individuals using therapeutic techniques.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transport as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and unit.
