Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dynamic Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to lead our Crisis Behavioral Health nursing department. The Manager will oversee daily operations, manage clinical and support staff, and ensure delivery of high-quality, comprehensive care to acute, complex patients.

The role requires PMHNP certification and prior leadership experience, with a full-time schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, no weekends.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant specialty.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership or administrative capacity.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the Crisis Behavioral Health nursing department.
• Manages clinical and support staff and ensures high-quality, comprehensive care for acute, complex patients.
• Provides clinical leadership and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develops and implements short- and long-term goals aligned with organizational objectives.
• Leads performance improvement initiatives and analyzes budgetary implications.
