Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field and clinical licensure or eligibility.
• Two years of direct behavioral health clinical care experience.
• Competence with DSM criteria and treatment planning.
• Professionalism, ethical practice, and strong critical thinking abilities.
• Reliable transportation to evaluation sites.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients with crisis needs in collaboration with ED staff and clinicians.
• Provide critical disposition recommendations to psychiatrists and physicians.
• Conduct face-to-face or telehealth triage evaluations.
• Manage assessment records and perform statistical analysis for crisis interventions.
• Respond to dangerous situations with de-escalation techniques to protect patients and staff.
• Ensure continuity of care via referrals and resource recommendations.

Education

Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Nursing or related behavioral health field
